Help and information / Tolerance compensation

The utility grid tolerance compensation is the compensation paid to the landowner for the grid tolerance. See the tolerance fee webpage or read more about sumitting an application HERE.

In order to get the compensation, you need to submit an application in self service or send it digitally signed to info@elektrilevi.ee.

As the maintenance work is a repair or replacement of equipment, the landowner is rather unable to make changes from their side. If the landowner wishes to relocate the line, the reconstruction is at the customer's request, in which case a corresponding application must be submitted on Elektrilevi's website.

During the maintenance of the powerline corridor, the landowner can have a say in the storage of materials and felling waste (where to store it within the property), notifying the contacts provided in the notification letter and by the deadline indicated in the letter.

After the maintenance works, the most common problem for the landowner is the rails on the ground. Due to the use of heavy equipment, such situations may inevitably occur. During negotiations with the client, a suitable solution is found and the original condition is restored (the damaged ground is filled with soil and grass seeds are sown). The timing of the works is agreed with the landowner before the works are carried out. If the crop has not yet been harvested in the field, no work will be carried out in the crop field until its harvested.

There have been cases where the information contained in the notification letters has remained ambiguous. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Elektrilevi informs about the upcoming works and wishes to receive feedback regarding the storage of felling waste. The letter of notification does not mean that the work will be carried out only in case there is a permission from the landowner.

During the works, drone overflights may take place above the landowners' premises in order to gather information on the condition of the network. The information is stored for internal use by the company and for making further network maintenance decisions.

When using drones, we follow the principles of drone flying, which are public and available on the website: kopterid.ee/helikopterid/lennuameti-droonide-lennutamise-eeskiri.
