Breakdown SMS notification service

  • We inform you about a breakdown by text message
  • What is the content of a breakdown SMS?

When there is a breakdown in the power grid, we would like to spare our customers the trouble of informing us about it, and instead do things the other way round: we will send you a text message to say that we are aware of the breakdown. If possible, we will also try to estimate when the power supply will be restored. You will not have to pay extra for the breakdown SMS notification service; it is free and for residential customers also automatic.

How does the notification service work?

If there is a power outage at your place of consumption, we will send you a text message, or SMS, about it. We will also estimate the time until the power supply will be restored. When we receive information stating that the breakdown has been repaired and power supply has been restored, we will send another message to inform you of this.

The automatic notification system will be working around the clock, but you can opt to receive messages only during the day. We can only send messages if your phone number in our database is correct (please check your data here). We inform customers about scheduled power outages separately and at least two days in advance.

How to order or cancel the SMS notification service?

The fastest and simplest way to order the breakdown SMS notification service is by using our e-service. Please go to the "Subscribing to notifications" page where you can also view, add and change your contact information and choose whether you would like to receive breakdown SMS notifications around the clock or only during the day.
