Changes in network charges
Most important changes from 1 March 2022
The cheaper night-time transmission fee will be extended by one hour on working days, being valid all year round from 22:00 to 7:00. In addition, the cheaper night-time transmission fee will be available 24 h on public holidays.
Changes for homes and small businesses (up to 63A)
The new package is suitable for customers with average or slightly higher than average consumption (eg 1500-3000 kWh per year for an apartment; 3500 to 11 000 kWh per year for a private house with 25A main fuse), consuming most of their electricity during periods with a lower network load or being able to direct their electricity consumption to periods with a lower network load. The package includes a monthly fee.
In self-service, we have provided customers with comparisons of packages with an annual cost. There you can see the current network package and its compatibility, and change the package if necessary.
Changes to low voltage packages over 63A
If consumption in the network is low, the kWh fee will be cheaper (e.g. at night, in summer, on weekends and holidays). If consumption in the network is high (e.g. in winter weekday mornings and evenings, in weekend and holiday evenings), the kWh fee will be more expensive. The package is suitable for customers whose majority of consumption takes place during a lower load or who can direct their electricity use to a lower load period through consumption management.
We will introduce new names for the packages. New network package names will be applied to existing ones as follows:
