The failure brigades of Elektrilevi are still actively working on restoring electricity supply in areas where the storm caused power outages on Friday.

According to Hardi Puusepp, leading specialist at Elektrilevi’s control center, the additional help received today had a significant impact and the work pace was noticeably increased. ‘However, the work has not been finished today. Many failures still need to be eliminated, which means that Elektrilevi brigades will probably continue to work on it until next midweek,’ Puusepp said.

Elektrilevi asks everyone to report power outages via the MARU application. The MARU application enables the rapid exchange of information between customers and Elektrilevi in the event of electrical failures.

As of 7 p.m. today, there were 472 customers without power, 268 of whom were in Pärnu.
