• Võrk 1 - Network service with a base rate (24h kWh price)
  • Võrk 2 - Network service with time-based tariffs (separate price for day and night time consumption, night rate applies all day at weekends)
  • Võrk 3 – Network service with base rate and fixed charges (24h kWh price, plus fixed fees: monthly fee and network connection capacity fee based on amperage)
  • Võrk 4 - Network service with time-based tariffs and fixed charges (separate price for day and night time consumption, plus fixed fees: monthly fee and network connection capacity fee based on amperage)

You should choose Võrk1 or Võrk 2 if:
you are a residential customer and live in a house with a main fuse rating of 25 A and the annual consumption is less than 7,900 kWh. Since your electricity consumption is low we recommend you choose a package without a fixed fee.

You should choose Võrk 3 or Võrk 4 if:
If you are a residential customer and live in a house with a main fuse rating of 25 A and the annual consumption is more than 7,900 kWh. Since your electricity consumption is high we recommend you choose a package with a fixed fee.

Similarly, you can choose a cheaper package if you live in an apartment. For example, an apartment building with 72 apartments and a main fuse rating of 250 A should choose a package with fixed fees if the annual consumption in the apartment is more than 2,200 kWh.

The easiest way to compare network service packages and to find the cheapest price is to use the package calculator in our e-service on your network services contract page. The calculator on the contract signing page can also help you decide and you can use it when you start signing a new network services contract.

We recommend that you check whether you have the network service package that is best for you every time you change your pattern of consumption. Price list for packages for network connections over 63A »

Should I choose double-tariff package or a package with a base rate?

  • If you mainly use electricity on weekdays and during the daytime then the cheapest option would be a package with a base rate, either Võrk 1 or Võrk 3, where the price per kWh is the same throughout the day.
  • If approximately half of your electricity is consumed at night or at weekends then we recommend you choose a double tariff price package, either Võrk 2 or Võrk 4.

The day rate applies from Monday to Friday 8:00–24:00 in summer and 7:00–23:00 in winter. The night rate applies 24:00–8:00 in summer, 23:00–7:00 in winter and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Regular weekday rates apply on national holidays that fall on a weekday.

You can choose a time-based tariff package for free only if you have a dual tariff meter or remotely read meter at your consumption point (whether or not you have been switched to remote reading). In other cases you will have to order a new meter if you want to use a price package with a time-based tariff. More about replacing your electricity meter »

How can I order a transfer to time-based tariffs or replacement of my meter?

If you have a remotely read meter at your place of consumption, please send the meter readings when you order the service.
