Joint access to the electrical network
Joint access to the network provides an opportunity to use Elektrilevi's network for the joint use of street lighting, communication network, signposts etc.
Seasonal light decorations and signs that can be considered as advertising cannot be mounted on power masts.
How do I get joint access to the network?
For joint access, you must first order a technical inspection document to determine whether joint access to the electrical power network is possible.
Submit an application for a technical inspection document
Steps necessary to obtain joint access
Technical inspection document
Submit an application for a technical inspection document. If the application requires the preparation of several separate projects, a separate application must be submitted for each project.
Application for a contract for joint access to the electrical network
Send us back the completed application for the contract for joint access to the electrical network, together with the applicable technical inspection document.
Application form for a contract for joint access to the electrical network (pdf)Concept design documentation
Submit to us concept design documentation prepared in accordance with the issued technical inspection document.
Contract for the joint use of physical infrastructure
We will sign the contract and you can commence with the construction works.
Execution of works
Execute the works according to the concept design documentation and hand over the construction documentation to us.
How much does joint access to the network cost?
The fee for a contract for the use of physical infrastructure under joint access depends on the scope of works to be carried out on each project.
Minor design documentation
€124.61
Major design documentation
€283.78
Fault notification fee for the user of physical infrastructure
€57.43
The term of the joint access contract is indefinite.
In the case of joint access, it must be taken into account that if there is a need to change the jointly accessed network, the user who uses the joint access must reconstruct their network.
Elektrilevi notifies the user in cases where joint access to the network cannot be ensured under the agreed conditions. In addition, Elektrilevi will notify you/the user of its scheduled works if the execution of the works may result in the interruption of the service provided by you/the user.
Elektrilevi notifies of a possible network reconstruction if it has received a network reconstruction or connection request from the customer.
Usually, the reconstruction of the network must be organised within three (3) months, as Elektrilevi has signed a contract with a third party for the reconstruction of the network, as a result of which it is no longer possible to ensure the user joint access under the agreed conditions.
The 3-month deadline for network reconstructions can be extended if your/the user's partner relocates your/the user's infrastructure while the Elektrilevi network is being reconstructed.
If we start with the reconstruction of the network and there are no special agreements regarding your/the user's network and the network has not been removed, we will dismantle it ourselves and submit an invoice for the costs incurred.
Elektrilevi executes works within its own electrical network. We can provide information about which partner is planning the reconstruction works of Elektrilevi's network in the area, so that you can plan your works accordingly.
We also allow you to use the excavated trench for the installation of other communications if you have our consent and there is design documentation for the cables/pipes etc to be laid in the trench.
After the network reconstruction works, we will send you an amended contract.
Notify us if you wish to cancel joint access to the network.
Valuation of pricing
Classification of joint access service:
Physical infrastructure | Minor design documentation | Major design documentation |
---|---|---|
Overhead transmission line pole | 1-10 poles | 11-100 poles |
Pipe | 1-10 metres | 11-50 metres |
Cable duct |
If the scope of the major design documentation as described in the table is exceeded, the user must pay an additional fee according to the extent the scope was exceeded. If the scope of the major design documentation is exceeded, the fee for the major design documentation is applied each time another scope of the major design documentation is reached.
