The renewable energy charge in 2023 will be 1.24 s/kWh
Transmission network operator Elering confirmed the charge for renewable energy from the beginning of 2023 to be 1.24 s/kWh (excluding VAT) instead of the current 1.13 s/kWh.
In accordance with the Electricity Market Act, the transmission network operator Elering publishes the renewable energy charge that comes into effect on January 1 every year no later than by December of the previous year. The renewable energy charge is a charge determined by the state, the purpose of which is to support the production of environmentally friendly electricity generated from renewable energy sources or in an efficient cogeneration process in Estonia.
